Standings

*During the League Phase, teams earn 3 points for a win and 1 for a tie.  Tiebreakers are as follows:

    1. Least number of goals against
    2. Head-to-head aggregate score
    3. Tava Coefficient
    4. Coin toss

Competition Format

Registration is on a season-by-season basis. Teams play at least six matches, which are held primarily on weekday evenings with weekends as a backup option when necessary and available.

League Phase – Teams play up to six matches in a Swiss Model.

    • Opponents are determined by ranking teams based on their Tava Coefficient, a number that takes into consideration a team’s current CSA level and their finish from the previous season in both their CSA league (if applicable) and Tava League (if applicable).
    • A rankings-based draw assigns matches ensuring each team plays a variety of opponents.
    • Teams earn three points for a win, one for a tie, and zero for a loss.

Bracket Phase – Teams are seeded according to their League Phase finishing position and play in a bracket tournament.

    • In most cases, there will be a Playoff bracket and a Consolation bracket.
    • The number of team who qualify for the Playoff bracket will depend on the number of teams in the league any given season.
